What started as a small shop has grown into one of Florida's most experienced custom woodworking shops. We've worked with designers, home builders, and homeowners on everything from a single bookshelf to entire model home communities.
We also teach the next generation. Rick mentors new cabinet makers and finishers, passing along skills that take decades to learn. Because good craftsmanship shouldn't die out.

Rick started Wood One 35+ years ago. He's built just about everything you can make out of wood and still gets excited about a tricky joint or a beautiful piece of walnut. When he's not in the shop, he's probably fishing or mentoring the next generation of cabinet makers.

Owner
Sage runs the shop today. Learned the trade from his dad, Rick. He keeps the quality up, the crew busy, and the clients happy.
